Free Write My plan is to go to a good college in state, like UCLA. While in school I would intern at hospitals near my school to get experience. I would like to major in biology, so that I can become a doctor. I would like to be a doctor so that I have a good income. One thing I'm interested in is the Navy. I could receive benefits that will help me with retirement. Joining the United States Navy would help become a better at what I do. In fact I could become a doctor for the navy. My family has a long record of being in the navy and becoming a member of the navy. With me being in the navy I can impress my family. If I do join the navy I would be able to travel the world, and being a doctor I can sleep knowing I helped someone that day.

College Essay Alex Ramirez Unintentional Living
Life is complex. Everyone is unique. Nobody is the same. Through out life, we face problems, but it is up to us to choose our own path. There are problems and problems cause ripples. No single person could change the outcome. The outcome may be painful, but that is how we learn.
I remember the first day of Kindergarten like it was yesterday. I remember seeing many new faces. Although meeting new people was the thing I feared most, I thought to myself that there was so much to learn about the world. There were so many new people to meet and so many things I didn’t know about. I feared the unknown, curious to find out what these what these experiences had in store for me. There were good ones and bad ones. I made friends and enemies but mostly friends. It was also in Kindergarten where I learned about science. I was sucked into a world I knew nothing about and I enjoyed it.
Science was my way of learning new things. Learning about cells made me want to become a doctor. Looking through microscopes and zooming in on things. It opened my eye to a world I never saw before. Seeing the things that aren't normally seen by the naked eye made me curious. I put my life into studying science. Building potato clocks, dissecting animals, and buying multiple build yourself robots is what sold me on science. In 2008 my Auntie was diagnosed with cancer. When the doctor told us we were shocked and upset because I could not do anything about it. That moment I wondered why there is no cure.
I have learned that life has it’s ups and downs, and to this day I don't know what would have happened without my family. With all the problems I have faced I have came out of those problems a stronger person. The lessons I have learned will help me even if I don't realize it. Internship Reflection During school I interned at a clinic in Chula Vista. This hospital is unique because it's specifically for veterans of the military. I spent the day with a doctor that specialized in almost every thing. She goes through patient after patient from eight in the morning until four thirty in the afternoon She is a doctor that checks up on people. As I walk through through the sliding door I was greeted by the front desk I put on a white doctor's coat and went through a set of doors and went into my grandpa's office. I sat down and pulled out my notepad. I immediately took notes as patients started coming through the doors the nurse were constantly calling people in. When the doctor arrived she started her work instantly. I was surprised by how much work she had to do, but it wasn't only her she had her partner a nurse. The nurses job was to check the patient's blood pressure. Then the doctor would come in and introduce herself and she would begin asking about any symptoms. Overall I think would like to be a doctor because, it looks interesting and I like to help people out. Taxes My Salary: $57,900 FICA= $4,342.50

Stock Intro All stocks are fractions of a company or business that are traded or sold to people. If you make a good investment in a well off company, you can make profit off of those stocks. Stocks grow more expensive as the company gets better. This means that the buyer who has bought stock from a company or business that is doing well, will make money off of their stock. This is because they own a part of the company/business. These people are called shareholders. They are the buyers of the stock market. When people refer to stocks or the stock market, they are usually referring to the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange) or the NASDAQ (National Association of Security Dealers Automated Quotation System). The NYSE is located on Wall Street, whereas the NASDAQ is electronic.
The NYSE was formed by 28 stock brokers in May, 1792. The NYSE was and is located in a convenient place- Wall Street, the heart of New York City. New York City is the home of many large corporations and businesses. This was important because everything is close all the data is close by in one area. The NASDAQ was founded in February, 1971. It is the first electronic stock market. For years, stock was traded through NASDAQ over the phone. In October, 1987, during the stock market crash, people were not answering the phones, so the SOES (Small Order Execution Systems) was established. This provided an electronic trading system for NASDAQ. Stocks began in the early 1300's but they weren't the same as they are now. Back in the 1300's the Venetian's would have information on different things for sale and they would meet with people to get them to buy shares of it. There is a lot of history behind stocks, and the reason why we need it is because to have a business or company, people need money.
